This course is designed to give designers, buyers, and other stakeholders a comprehensive understanding of BIFMA Compliant and the ANSI/BIFMA furniture standards that make up the program. The free and accessible BIFMA Compliant product registry exists to help anyone associated with commercial furniture make informed selection and purchase decisions that safeguard clients and organizations. ANSI/BIFMA furniture standards have been the basis for assessing safety and durability since 1973. They are foundational to the well-being of the ultimate user of commercial furniture products.
