Interior Designers of Canada (IDC)’s Industry Partnership program creates opportunities for manufacturers and suppliers to build valuable relationships, strengthen connections, and promote their brand within the Canadian interior design community.
IDC offers various Industry Partnership levels, each one designed to provide targeted access based on the partner’s market focus and growth objectives.
In 2025, Daltile rejoined IDC as a National Industry Partner. Over the past year, Daltile has engaged with IDC members through national exposure, online promotion, and event participation that supported direct interaction with designers.
“Joining Interior Designers of Canada in 2025 was a natural fit for us as a national manufacturer and distributor of tile, countertops, LVT, and other surface solutions that interior designers rely on every day. Our goal was to strengthen our connection with the design community across the country and better support their project needs.
Throughout the year, our team made it a priority to attend as many IDC events as possible nationwide. The experience exceeded our expectations—the connections were meaningful, the conversations were valuable, and the programming provided real insight into the evolving needs of the design profession in Canada.
As a National Industry Partner, we’ve also seen a measurable increase in brand awareness and a noticeable rise in inquiries compared to previous years. Based on the strong engagement we experienced and the overwhelmingly positive feedback from our team, renewing our partnership for 2026 was an easy decision.” Rick Dumont, Canadian Commercial Sales Manager, Daltile, Marazzi & American Olean
This year IDC welcomed Miele as a new National Industry Partner.
“Joining IDC this year reflects our commitment to strengthening Canada’s design community and supporting the professionals who shape thought provoking and inspiring spaces. We see IDC as a vital platform for collaboration, education, and advocacy- one that elevates design excellence across the country. Through this partnership, Miele A&D Connect looks forward to contributing to IDC’s mission, deepening our engagement with designers nationwide, and supporting the industry through our dedication to quality, longevity, and sustainable design.” D’Arcy Pretty, Head of A&D Development, Miele Canada.
At the regional level, IDC collaborated in 2025 with Alexandria Moulding, Centura, Nieman Outdoor Concepts, and Scavolini. These Regional Partners supported various events, engaged in regional outreach and made direct connections with designers in key markets.
“Joining the Interior Designers of Canada marks an exciting step for Alexandria Moulding as we continue to support residential interior designers. Designers play a vital role in shaping how people experience their homes, and we’re committed to providing the products, inspiration, and service they need to bring their vision to life.” Debora Juliao, Marketing Manager, Alexandria Moulding.
“At Centura, our regional partnership with IDC has had an incredibly positive impact not just in terms of engagement, but in the personal relationships we’ve built with designers across the country. As a new leader, I have found it invaluable to hear direct feedback, learn from the design community, and make meaningful connections with some truly inspiring people in this industry. IDC creates opportunities for collaboration that strengthen all of us.” Mathew Hider, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Centura.
“Nieman Outdoor Concepts joined IDC in 2026 to strengthen our connection with Canada’s design community. We work closely with designers, architects, and hospitality specifiers to provide access to premium outdoor furniture and shade brands like Shademaker and Kingsley Bate, supporting projects from early specification right through to completion.” Jonah Nieman, Sales Representative, Nieman Outdoor Concepts.
