“On behalf of this year’s Value of Design Awards (VODA) Awards jury, we’d like to thank every design team who took the time to submit their work. It’s always a privilege to review the incredible range of projects and talents within our industry.
As jurors, we were reminded of how important it is to reinforce the purpose of these awards. VODA is not simply about recognizing beautiful or well-crafted spaces. These awards exist to celebrate the value of design – the innovative thinking and the strategic, human-centered process that leads to meaningful outcomes.
We encourage future applicants to focus on telling the story behind the design thinking process. What challenges were you addressing? What insights shaped your approach? How did your process improve lives, systems, or experiences? Show us how you uncovered user needs, how your insights shaped the design, and most importantly, how your work created real value, socially, functionally, or economically.
VODA is about more than aesthetics; it’s about purpose, impact, and innovation through design. That’s what we honour with these awards.”
