The International Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC) has introduced a new way for members to automatically record their attendance for accredited continuing education units (CEU). The new app helps both providers of CEUs and designers who attend courses an easier solution to tracking and reporting their attendance.
IDC members are encouraged to download the new IDCEC Mobile Attendance App from the Google Play or Apple Store and sign in using their IDCEC credentials.
At the end of an IDCEC-approved CEU, members will be provided with a unique QR class code that can be scanned using the app which will automatically record their attendance and track it on the dashboard as a completed course credit.
If a member does not use the app, the CEU will need to be reported by the provider online after the webinar, rather than self-reported.
