In this position\, she works on outreach and engagement with a number of stakeholders\, including students\, educators\, member boards\, and association chapters\, among others. In addition\, Kimberly has continued to support the volunteer Ambassadors program\, as well as providing support for CIDQ’s Board of Directors\, CEO\, and other office staff. Prior to CIDQ\, Kimberly worked for an energy consulting company in Ohio. Kimberly received her Master of Arts in Teaching from Loyola University Maryland\, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Global Studies\nfrom the University of Toledo. \nAandra Currie Shearer\, IDIBC\, FIDC \nPast President\, CIDQ Board of Directors \nCIDQ \nwww.cidq.org/ \nPresenter bio: \nA Saskatoon native\, Aandra nurtured her interest in design first through studies in fine arts and then interior design at the University of Manitoba. In Vancouver\, she has led multi-family residential and financial sector work as well as telecommuted as senior designer for a Saskatoon-based architectural firm. Much of her experience has been with mid-to-large size multi-departmental organizations. A passionate advocate for the profession of interior design at many levels\, Aandra has served on the provincial board of Saskatchewan (IDAS)\, and has held board positions with the Interior Designers of Canada since 2010. In 2016 Aandra served as President of the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC). She has moderated and sat on various panels in Vancouver\, Toronto\, and Italy\, judged products\, and hosted awards at IIDEX Canada. She is a Past President of IDC. \nSiavash Madani\, NCIDQ\, IDIBC\, IDC \nDirector\, CIDQ Board of Directors \nCIDQ \nwww.cidq.org/ \nPresenter bio: \nSiavash is an interior designer with over a decade of experience in the field. Over the past 11 years\, he has practiced interior design progressively in a variety of boutique\, medium\, and large multi-disciplinary firms in Montréal with projects spread across North America. Developing an exceptionally diverse portfolio\, Siavash has designed high-end residential projects\, commercial\, retail and corporate work space projects. He has served as the CIDQ delegate for the province of Quebec\, as well as an NCIDQ Ambassador since the inception of the program. \nJason Kasper \nPresident-Elect\, CIDQ Board of Directors \nCIDQ \nwww.cidq.org/ \nPresenter bio: \nJason is a proud Canadian interior design practitioner and advocate\, based in Winnipeg\, Man.\, and has been in practice for the past 25 years. He has spent his career focused on the belief that you get out what you put into something – and this has driven his passion to volunteer his time to organizations that he believes in. He is currently Principal of IDEATE Design Consulting Inc.\, a design firm that he began in 2002. Founded on the principle that good design should be accessible to all\, IDEATE has continued to honor its mandate around attracting a diverse roster of clients with individual and specialized needs. Since 2016\, Li has successfully led over 100 interior projects ranging from residential to commercial\, multifamily\, and hospitality categories. Her multidisciplinary professional and academic background recently evolved into examining subjects in affordable\, universal\, and resilient designs across interior design and developmental landscapes.
