Learning spaces have an incredibly important and often unmeasured influence over students’ growth and development. The demands on the school environment have changed significantly over the last few years with an increased focus on a holistic approach to education. This approach aims to prepare individuals not only for academic success but also for a fulfilling and meaningful life by addressing various aspects of a person’s development and well-being from academic learning to critical life skills and community engagement.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Interior finishes have a substantial role in creating holistic educational environments that are supportive, safe, and hygienic.\u00a0 Because of this, the discussion will focus not only on key evidence-based design principles but also on the technical aspects of colour, material selection, and detailing which influence the selection and specification of interior finishes engineered for long-term durability and life cycle affordability.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During this session, attendees will explore the use of colour, design, and materials to create spaces that support students and staff of all ages and abilities.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
