Michael Ford is the founding principal of BrandNu Design, an architectural firm where he is leading the design of projects such as The Universal Hip Hop Museum in The Bronx. In 2022, Ford was named Young Architect of The Year by American Institute of Architects Wisconsin Chapter. Ford is the founder of Muundo, Inc a non-profit organization through which he runs The Hip Hop Architecture Camp, an international program which positions Hip Hop Culture as a catalyst to introduce youth to architecture and design. The Hip Hop Architecture Camp has been featured in a variety of media including Oprah Winfrey Network\u2019s Super Soul Sunday, The TODAY Show, Rolling Stone Magazine, Architect Magazine and ESPN. As the host and creator of <em>Spark<\/em>, CBC\u2019s national radio show and podcast about technology and culture, and the author of <em>The Virtual Self<\/em>, Young demystifies technology and explains how it is shaping our lives, as well as the larger world around us. She helps audiences understand trends in big data, new technologies, machine learning, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Young was the founding host of CBC Radio\u2019s<em> Definitely Not the Opera<\/em>, where she often discussed topics related to new media and technology. Her work has also been featured in print, online, and television and she is also a committed hobby podcaster.
