PROpel is a national competition created exclusively for emerging leaders, providing the opportunity for engagement in discussions and connections with influential representatives in the interior design community.<\/p>\n

Emerging leaders will have the opportunity to hear an inspiring keynote presentation and network with their peers, industry professionals, and the IDC board at the PROpel Emerging Leaders Program and Mixer<\/a> during the virtual 2021 IDC Design Symposium<\/a> this fall.<\/p>\n

In addition, each participant will be announced as part of a promotional series on a weekly basis with a short profile published across IDC\u2019s social media platforms, newsletters and honoured at the IDC Awards Celebration<\/a> on Oct. 13, 2021.<\/p>\n

Anna Walker is a Canadian designer, currently based in Ottawa, Ont. and is proud to have been raised on Canada\u2019s east coast. Along with graduating with a bachelor of interior design (honours) program in 2016, she achieved the WELL AP certification in 2019. Anna has worked in a number of design companies and demonstrated that she is able to approach complex problems in a reasonable and logical manner, while working collaboratively with her colleagues, to develop innovative design solutions to meet and exceed client expectations. For the past three years, Anna has worked as a designer at HOK in the corporate, government, and healthcare sectors in the Ottawa area. She believes that good design can have a positive impact on the environment and that one\u2019s own experience can be a source of inspiration.<\/p>\n
