By measuring the benefits and outcomes of design, IDC is showcasing the true value of design across the country and beyond.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/idcanada.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Value-of-Design-Awards-Application-Brief-2020.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"attachment noopener wp-att-2889 noreferrer\">DOWNLOAD GUIDE<\/a> | <a href=\"https:\/\/idcanada.formstack.com\/forms\/voda_awards_2020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SUBMIT APPLICATION<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The deadline to submit VODA entries has been extended to May 1, 2020.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Applications for the Value of Design Awards (VODA) are still open, but entry fees have been suspended this year, due to the changing nature of COVID-19 and its effect on businesses and interior designers across the country.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>To honour and celebrate our community\u2019s design projects, IDC will continue to collect VODA entries, host remote deliberation meetings with <a href=\"https:\/\/idcanada.org\/2020-voda-judges-and-update-on-submission-fees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">VODA judges<\/a>, and select winners.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>IDC continues to monitor the current global situation with plans to announce award winners this fall.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/idcanada.org\/canadian-interior-designers-honoured-at-idcs-design-symposium-in-vancouver-b-c\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Learn about IDC&rsquo;s 2019 VODA recipients.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">Image: Thompson Dorfman Sweatman, Suzanne Wilkinson, figure3.
