Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022. For 50 years, IDC has served as a non-profit national advocacy association for the interior design profession, which prides itself in reinvesting membership fees back into serving members.
Due to the ongoing global pandemic impacting the interior design industry, IDC has taken various actions and implemented new online programs over the last two years to ensure that members are still able to benefit from their IDC membership to the fullest.
To celebrate IDC’s 50th anniversary, members can get an early bird discount of $50 to put towards their membership dues invoice. Discount is applied to those who provide payment by Dec. 31, 2021. Members will receive an invoice for their 2022 membership dues in November, which will ensure their continued enjoyment of many benefits of IDC membership, including:

- Access to industry research and advocacy tools

Starting this year, IDC membership dues invoices will include a line for donation to the Interior Designers of Canada Foundation (IDCF). IDCF was founded in 1990 as a registered charitable foundation, with a mission to contribute to the advancement of the interior design profession nationally. Donations will support the IDC Foundation’s ability to continue to fund research and educational opportunities.
IDC is committed to continuing to deliver high quality services and products that provide measurable benefits for members at every stage of their career, as well as advocating to government and the wider business community on behalf of Canada’s talented interior design industry.
