Presentation Description:
In this webinar, design professionals, general contractors, and owners or facility managers will gain a thorough understanding of architectural acoustics (sometimes called “invisible architecture”). Attendees will learn about acoustics in the built environment (invisible architecture) and the effects on well-being, health, and safety including an overview on the Well Building Institute’s acoustical comfort recommendations.
Other learning objectives include gaining an understanding of what sound is, how it behaves in an interior environment and how building materials are classified for their sound control capabilities, and exploring acoustical challenges in flexible space and how best to control sound including those acoustical challenges with operable partitions.

Bob Villeneuve has been an employee of Skyfold’s Parent company since 2001 and has been a Skyfold Regional Sales Manager since 2009. He has many years of experience in the architectural product market. He has a Certificate of Business Studies from Concordia University and studied Communications at John Abbott College, both in Montreal.
