As we honour the contributions of Canadian designers during National Indigenous History Month, join IDC for a special presentation on how to incorporate Indigenous perspectives and elements into design projects.
As professionals who work in culturally relevant and meaningful spaces, how do we best learn, incorporate, and allow Indigenous ideas and practices to thrive in those spaces? Jennifer will talk about how to incorporate Indigenous ideologies and teachings into daily processes, along with creating work that isn’t afraid to celebrate the amazing complexity of Indigenous culture and history. She will also touch on her firm’s approach to accessibility and sustainability within that framework for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous designers.
