Part of the BIFMA Learning Monthly Series, this is an accredited and live virtual learning opportunity for our members, designers, buyers, educators, and anyone interested in furniture for the built environment. Best of all, this event is offered for free!
This course deepens understanding of the role furniture plays in the sustainable built environment. Navigating industry sustainability programs and trends can be overwhelming. This course compares and explains the approach to sustainability between building rating systems, transparency protocols, and product certifications. It defines key sustainability attributes relating to furniture and how LEVEL® by BIFMA—as a comprehensive third-party multi-attribute furniture sustainability standard—can support sustainability goals.
