Alobar CEU Tour – Lunch & Learn

A world-class restaurant in its food, hospitality, and interior design, Mason Studio understood the intent behind Alobar Downtown. Set in the heart of Toronto’s energetic financial district, this outpost of the Michelin Star restaurant group balances an upscale experience with a laid-back spirit. Mason Studio was enlisted to transform the space of a previous restaurant, creating an effortless, inspiring effect. A place for a fashion-forward, business-savvy diner with a keen knowledge of cuisine and libations, Alobar invites Alo Food Group enthusiasts, locals from the area, and visitors to the city looking for a destination spot.

Mason Studio’s Design Director, Marti Gallucci, will elaborate on how the firm understood the project requirements and translated the personality of the Alobar brand and Chef/Owner, Patrick Kriss, into the design. She will expand on the restaurant design’s intentional details and material selections, existing constraints and opportunities, and the collaborations within the process.
