“The overarching design concept of BDO’s new Winnipeg location is the abacus. When discussing the most authentic way of representing BDO, we dove into the essence of accounting—which is counting—and time-traveled back to the technology accountants used before there were calculators, apps, and computers.”

A look back at IDC’s trade mission to Malaysia f

A look back at IDC’s trade mission to Malaysia for the Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF). ✈️

As the largest export-oriented furniture trade show in Southeast Asia, MIFF showcased a diverse range of made-in-Malaysia wooden furniture, home furniture, and office furniture.

The fair featured the panel discussion, “Strength in Diversity: Canada’s Interior Design Landscape,” with IDC members Tamara Bush, Marcella Au, and Kerri Peyton, IDC board member Kathryn Lawrence, and was moderated by IDC’s Director of Communications and Marketing, Vesna Plazacic.

Thank you to our hosts and partners for their hospitality and to our members for their participation.
