This webinar demonstrates the techniques needed to take a small commercial interior project from start to finish in Vectorworks. The focus is on setting up a single model that can provide both 2D and 3D views, and that can be carried through both presentation and construction drawings. Attendees will see how to move from 2D to 3D, employ best-practice techniques and workflows, make the most of rendering and lighting, create construction documentation with data that provides schedules and take-offs, and create client presentations through cloud services.

Presenter bio:

Luis M. Ruiz, International Assoc. AIA, senior architect product specialist at Vectorworks, Inc., uses over 30 years of architectural expertise to showcase Vectorworks software’s capabilities. He provides training at AIA conventions and international BIM events. A native of Mexico City, Luis also supports Latin American Vectorworks users and distributors by speaking at events and recording voiceovers for Spanish-language tutorial videos. Prior to joining Vectorworks, he worked as an architectural designer in New England and in Mexico City. Luis earned a master’s degree in architecture from Universidad del Valle de Mexico. He’s been clicking the mouse since the days of Claris CAD, Architron, and MiniCAD 3.
