BIFMA Webinar: Level by BIFMA

September 26 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT

This course gives detail to the LEVEL® certification by BIFMA and its role in the selection of sustainable furniture. Though many building rating systems and programs feature sustainability criteria, none focus extensively on the sustainability of furniture. LEVEL® takes furniture sustainability further than other certifications and is a key tool for furniture selection.

What Is The LEVEL® Certification?

A LEVEL® certification provides furniture products with a third-party accreditation of conformance to the ANSI/BIFMA e3 Furniture Sustainability Standard. There are multiple conformance tiers within the LEVEL® certification. Each subsequent LEVEL® tier corresponds to scoring more points in the three Categories and three Impact Areas. BIFMA encourages all manufacturers members to seek the highest LEVEL® certification they can and buyers to select product that are LEVEL® certified.
