Honourees:
Ada Bonini
Ada Bonini is a professional interior designer known for her expert and thoughtful approach to design, mentorship, and leadership. After a twenty-six year career as an interior designer with eighteen of those being co-founder and principal of BYU Design, she is now the sole proprietor of Studio Bonini, a design studio that provides tailored services for clients who understand the positive impact that intelligent design can have on people’s lives.
Her core values of Imagination, Trust, Honesty, and Professionalism are the backbone of her work and approach to her projects, striving to elevate and invigorate the human experience. Ada is a constant learner, and her past awards and accolades speak to her aspiration to being a great example of the profession.
Cheryl Broadhead
Cheryl A. J. Broadhead is the Principal of Bob’s Your Uncle Design, a leading interior design studio known for its innovative and inspiring designs. Cheryl’s journey in art and design began with her achieving both a Diploma in Interior Design with Honours from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary. Her dedication to her vocation led her to attain various designations, including the title of Registered Interior Designer with Interior Designers of Canada, and memberships in IDIBC and IIDA. In 2008, Cheryl became a LEED accredited professional and currently sits on the BCIT Interior Design Program Advisory Committee.
Before founding BYU Design, Cheryl honed her skills at firms in Toronto and Vancouver, specializing in hospitality and multi-unit residential projects locally, nationally, and internationally. Under Cheryl’s leadership, BYU Design has flourished into one of Canada’s most respected and sought-after interior design studios.
Cheryl’s passion for art and design is evident in her work, where she seamlessly blends creativity with functionality. Her designs have garnered praise for their innovation and attention to detail, earning her a reputation as a leader in the industry. Cheryl is dedication to pushing boundaries and shaping spaces that leave a lasting impression.

Anicka Quin
Anicka Quin is the editorial director of Western Living, BCBusiness, BCLiving and Vancouver magazines. Under her leadership, these regional brands have gained a national reputation, regularly winning top honours at the Canadian Online Publishing Awards, National Magazine Awards and the Editor’s Choice Awards. She got her start in small magazines, including Alternatives Journal and id Magazine, and teaches communications at Capilano University.
