Panel Discussion – Building international relationships through IDC trade missions

Each year IDC organizes international trade missions to provide opportunities for IDC members to explore business ventures and forge new partnerships with interior designers and manufacturers across the globe. IDC trade missions are funded by international trade agencies and often sponsored in part by manufacturers and suppliers in host countries. In most cases, all or most of the expenses are covered for participating IDC members of the association. Earlier this year IDC helped organize trade missions to Belgium, Malaysia and Indonesia. Two more trade missions, hosted in Italy, are planned for this fall. Learn about the process of applying to these programs, what to expect when travelling to these destinations, and how to make the best of the trade mission experience.
