IDC invites educators and practitioners to submit presentation outlines and research papers that explore and contribute to all aspects of interior design. This includes design education and scholarship on various topics such as theory, practice, history, anthropology, education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and any other relevant topics that may be of interest to the global interior design community.
Research on the topics of diversity, equity, inclusion, sustainability, climate, and accessibility are especially welcome.
Speakers and authors are invited to submit workshop or presentation summaries, creative peer-reviewed abstracts, or developed research papers, previously published or unpublished.
Submissions will be accepted throughout the year and will be reviewed by an IDC board committee prior to publication on the IDC website and/or consideration for the IDC Design Symposium.
