On January 30, IDC returns to the beautiful Cantu Bathrooms & Hardware showroom in Vancouver, BC for an accredited CEU presentation, in collaboration with Groupe Lacasse, Considering All Cultures in Design for Wellness and Health Promotion. Enjoy a change of pace in the afternoon for an hour of learning and an opportunity to reconnect with peers.
Attendance is free! Please note that this event is exclusively for interior designers and architects.
Presentation Summary:
Acknowledging diverse cultures in a healing space is crucial for creating a supportive environment. It’s challenging to account for all customs and rituals, but failing to do so can negatively impact retention, new client attraction, and patient enrollment. Researching local cultures allows designers to create inclusive spaces that respect traditions, enhancing comfort and trust. This approach fosters effective healing by honoring long-standing customs.
This CEU is presented by Groupe Lacasse.
