enRoute Hotel Design Awards deadline March 8, 2013
The submission deadline for the enRoute Hotel Design Awards is March 8. Presented in partnership with IDC, Architecture Canada | RAIC and IIDEX Canada, the awards recognize the best Canadian-designed hotels around the world.
The competition is open to all Canadian designers and architects working in Canada and abroad. (Canadians working at foreign firms may submit entries as long as they are credited as the lead designer/architect.) The competition is open to new hotels and resorts – as well as properties that have undergone extensive renovations – that were completed between January 1, 2011, and December 31, 2012. The hotel or resort may be located anywhere in the world.
Judged by the international jurors Douglas Coupland, Matali Crasset, Maxwell Ryan, Moshe Safdie and Adam D. Tihany, the awards recognize outstanding achievements by Canadian designers and architects working in the hospitality sector.
Winning entries will be featured in the September 2013 issue of Air Canada's enRoute magazine and at enroute.aircanada.com. Winners will also be honoured at an awards ceremony at IIDEX Canada, September 26 and 27, 2013, in Toronto.
